At a meeting at the National Training Centre in Bath on 15th January 2011, over 50 people heard a presentation from Ben Hunt-Davis and Georgie Harland (Modern Pentathlon Bronze Medallist in Athens) from the British Olympic Association.

The world's greatest sporting events are coming to London! Tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games are now on sale.

UK residents can apply via the London 2012 ticketing website at any time during the 42 day application period which commenced on 15th March. It is not a first come, first served system and there is no advantage to applying earlier in the process. Ticket prices start at just £20 with special prices available for young people and seniors. Apply for tickets at www.tickets.london2012.com before 11.59pm on 26 April 2011 so you don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Sports fans who are not a resident of the UK or a designated European country will be able to apply via their National Olympic Committee (NOC) or their Authorised Ticket Reseller from 15 March.
